focus on nature imagery, combining printmaking, painting and digital
technologies.
Artist Bio:
Louis DiGena was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1963. He pursued
a B.A. in Liberal Arts at Upsala College. Bellcore, Hoffman La-Roche,and
NYNEX are among the companies for which he has worked as a computer
graphic artist. In 1989, he earned an M.F.A. in Computer Art at
the School of Visual Arts (SVA). Louis, an Associate Professor,
currently teaches computer graphics and graphic design in Fine
Arts at St. John'sUniversity. Throughout his career, he has published,
produced commissioned pieces for New York Telephone, and showed,
both in solo and group exhibitions, nationally and internationally.
